Okay I know this should not be that big of a deal, but break out the ….. MGD Beer, I got my first Ezine Article published about miter saw stands.
Of course it is on how to choose the right miter saw stands. The thing about Ezine articles is that they have a messed up submitting process. After you submit the article to them, they take up to 10 days to review it. Okay, fine I can wait. But when there is a problem, they send you an email saying please contact us about a problem with your article. They don’t tell you what the problem is? So you go to support and fill out a ticket that says “hey you called me remember?” I mean you put in a ticket that tells them to contact you about a problem they haven’t told you what it is yet? Then you wait 7 days for them to send you another email, this time telling you what the problem is. So I fix what they wanted fixed, they didn’t like me explaining all the different types of miter saws like mitre saw, chop saw, compound miter saw, ect, you get the idea.
So I fixed it and resubmitted for another 10 day period of waiting for approval only to get….wait for it…. an email saying there is a problem with my article please submit a ticket to support. I couldn’t wait any longer, so I went back to my article, took out all but 2 mentions of the type of saw you can use miter saw stands and resubmitted. I figured it was the only thing I could think of that they still might have a problem with. Today, I popped in to the site to see if they had answered my support ticket, they had not. However there was my article in the published column. Yea! So here is the link:
Perhaps that’s how they get you to appreciate them more, put you through the ringer so that when they publish your article you feel like you are on top of the world. 9 more articles to go before they cut the review time down from 10 days to 24 hrs. We will have to see.
I will be writing articles not just on miter saw stands but also on some selected miter saws as well.
